About Us
OUR RANGE'S
We are a private, gun club with six ranges : 100-yard, 50-yard, 25-yard, 15-yard, and two more ranges reserved for special events. The reserved ranges will be open to members when not previously scheduled.
We are located near the intersection of Interstates 295 and 64, not far from the Richmond International Airport. Five minutes off of the Cold Harbor exit of I-295, we are convenient for both the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas.
Our memberships are based on the calendar year and can be purchased at any time during the year. We do not prorate membership fees.
We do not have a waitlist, work days, or initiation fees.

BLACK CREEK'S STORY
We are a Privately owned outdoor shooting range in Mechanicsville, VA.
The original founder, Kay C. Young, opened the first range for personal use in 1966. Today, the property hosts six ranges. Four of these are open to the general public and two are reserved for training and other special events.
For many years, Kay operated Young's Gun Shop, a full-service gun shop offering sales, repairs, and custom gun building. It was during this time that he created the additional ranges that we have today.
